My Candida symptom
At first I really did not know what was going on. I had the first Candida symptom, the first indication that I had a vaginal yeast infection, but I just did not know what was going on. The first Candida symptom that I experienced was a little bit of discomfort when I urinated. The discomfort really was not significant, that first Candida symptom. In fact, I figured it wasn’t anything at all. But, by the next day, I had a bit more discomfort when I urinated and I started to feel a burning sensation as well. I did not realize that the burning sensation when urinating was another Candida symptom.
By the end of that second day, I started to experience yet another Candida symptom. My vulva started to swell a bit and it looked an irritated shade of red. Yet again, I just did not realize that this was still another Candida symptom. That evening, the evening of the day after I experienced the first Candida symptom, I had an unexpected vaginal discharge. It was a thick, milky colored discharge that did have an odor to it although it was not necessarily a bad or foul smelling odor. The discharge made me realize that something was wrong.
I made an appointment to see my doctor the next day. He advised me that each of the experiences I was having was a Candida symptom. In other words, I had a Candida or yeast infection in my vagina. My doctor had me start a treatment regimen immediately to help clear up each individual Candida symptom I was experiencing and to resolve the yeast infection infection itself. My doctor told me that I should start to see relief from each Candida symptom in about three days from the start of the treatment. Each Candida symptom should be completely eliminated and the yeast infection essentially resolved within about a week.
My doctor’s predictions turned out to be very accurate. Within a week I was completely Candida symptom free. My doctor did give me one final word of advice. He said that if I experienced a recurrence of the yeast infection within the coming two months I needed to return to his office as soon as possible. A recurring yeast infection can be a sign of something more serious going on, of some sort of illness, disease or disorder that has my body off balance and that leads to recurring yeast infections.
